Trainee Mould Designer/Trainee Designer Vacancy in Hertford

Trainee Mould Designer/Trainee Designer with experience in CAD/CAM software, who is looking to train or expand their knowledge of plastic bottle mould and product design, or wishing to start a career in plastic mould and bottle design.  Person with existing experience is preferred, but not essential. We are an extrusion blow-moulding precision engineering company with over 50 years experience in the industry. We offer a design service to our customers, and are looking to expand our design team. Our main customer base is the plastic bottle industry, supplying moulds for the dairy, food, beauty and agricultural industries. Previous manufacturing experience preferred, but not essential. We offer in-house training in all aspects of plastic bottle design and manufacture, from 50ml bottles up to 20 litre bottles of various shapes, sizes, and plastic compositions.   The successful candidate will need to be able work as part of a team and be flexible in their attitude to work during busy periods.   We are located in clean modern premises in Hertford, with up to date technology. In return we can offer a full time permanent position with competitive salary according to experience, to include 25 days paid holiday, paid bank holidays. Working hours are 39 hours/week, Monday to Thursday 8am-4.30pm and Friday 8am-3.30pm with ½ hour for lunch.
