Blow Mould Toolmaker / Manual Miller / Bench Toolmaker Vacancy in Hertford

Experienced blow mould toolmaker, manual miller or bench toolmaker required to join our fast paced precision engineering and manufacturing team for the development, repair and maintenance of mould tools for the blow mould production sector.  Our main customer base is the plastic bottle industry, supplying moulds to the dairy, food, beauty and agricultural industries.  The successful candidate will require a positive attitude and need to be flexible.  The day to day nature of the working environment requires various duties to be performed from drilling and spark eroding, to polishing and milling.  The ability to work as an individual and as part of a team is essential.  Good knowledge of tool room equipment is required, as is experience in service, maintenance and repair of mould tools.  Our machinery is modern and well maintained and includes the latest CNC machinery.  In return we can offer a full time permanent position with competitive salary according to experience, to include 25 days paid holiday and paid bank holidays.  Core working hours are 39 hours/week, Monday to Thursday 8am-4.30pm and Friday 8am-3.30pm with 1/2 hour for lunch.  Overtime is paid at time and a half.  There is free car parking available on site.  Potential earnings for the right candidate, to include overtime, circa £42,000.
